Laser Fusion Technologies Limited (LFT), a Cambridge-based company, has secured an exclusive agreement to commercialize proprietary laser fusion cold spray technology (“SprayLaze”) for energy, manufacturing and aerospace applications on a global basis.
This technology enables highly portable and cost-effective metal deposition on a wide range of engineering surfaces such as polymers, metals and ceramics, without requiring energy consuming melting operations. The technology can deposit any metal including those that offer particular difficulties such as titanium or tungsten.
